Hi there,

I'm Julie.  I am a cloisonné enamelist, which at this point I think means my art is more about glass than metal.  However, the enamels are usually either made into jewelry in a metal frame, or wall art..in a metal frame.  I want to get better at the metal part.  I can wield a torch, I have access to a lathe and mill...and I recently  stole...er...borrowed my son's anvil.  And I have caved (I used to think it was cheating) and I'm taking a precious metal clay class soon.  The metal and the enamel go hand in hand, I want them to look like they are meant to be together.  I hope you'll say hi, I could do with some friends too.  Cheers.
