I cut some feathers using the plasma out of 14 ga. Looking at the shape cut out they were not at all attractive or realistic looking. SO - light up the forge and get the cut out hot and then hammer texture it. Hmmm - still not what I was looking for - get it hot again, bend in half, reopen it and that leaves a nice vein appearance. Do another one - hammer out some copper wire into strapping and use that to wrap them together. Had a bear claw (not real) and attached it using some sinew thread. Hope you like it.
