I ordered some repousse/chasing tools from Gene. I have a basic set of tools I bought from Kirsten Skiles back when she was still making tools, and they have served me well. But I wanted to fill in some gaps and also wanted some "heftier" tools for working on these larger pieces. Ordered from Gene and got a package in yesterday's mail containing the pictured tools - including a sample from his brand new currently-in-test matting tools (that should be on his website soon). [Beer]

Thanks Gene! I'll let you know how the matting tool works for me.

Nice looking tools! I like the little texture/tool marks on the shafts! They look elegant! I just LOVE tools! Especially pretty ones!
