Thanks, Glen. The patina is actually pretty subtle yet vivid, and hard to photograph well.

Thanks, MnT. Glen, the detail pics help. It's hard to photograph the entire thing, and show the patina well, I guess, is more what I meant.

Thanks, Duck. I'd like to, but I need more sales of these, to fund themselves. Does that make sense?

The patina came out great.

It looks way better than a Alberto Giacometti sculpture.

Spent most of today doing photohraphy on some recent pieces. I had a LOT to photograph. Here are a few:

And "Corruption" Foldformed Copper wall sculpture, 8-1/2" x 5-1/2":

Love the "Corruption," conveys a sense of previous loss, or forgotten ideas revisited.. at least to this basher. Cool stuff man

[Beer] Great stuff, they all turned out looking good and very nice patina's really do help them along! [Beer]

I meant to comment on one of you others pieces, that the finishing of the back or wall side with the care given to the attachment points. Always adds so much more to the work then the effort required to do the work.

Thanks, Hammer. The message that I was trying to convey was the occurrence of something foul trashing an orderly system. The line folds were all straight and clean until I did the large sloppy T fold across it, which corrupted the system. Chaos out of order, basically. Thanks, Glen. Well, you have to have them hang well, if you plan to have them hang on a wall. It's like locating a loop on a pendant, you eyeball it, maybe measure it, then attach it and test it. I use silver solder on these, so the attachments are pretty damned solid.

A couple more pieces. These illustrate what the effect is whether you hammer on the fold, versus hammering on the outside edges. Both were started from a nearly identical elongated teardrop shape.

"Sidewinder" Foldformed Copper, mounted on curly Walnut. 6" tall x 4" wide, 3" deep. Hammered on the fold.

And "Breaking". Foldformed Copper, mounted on curly Walnut. 6" tall x 6" wide x 2" deep. Hammered on the edges.
