Some pretty great Patina pdf downloads
While waiting for Tim McCreight's DVD on patina to be released.
Here are a number of downloadables of patinas in full color they are all relatively safe chemical patina's. They are probably going to be part of the DVD, but in PDF format for free downloads. It is good to have these no nonsense formulas. I created a special folder for these pdf's. I am most excited about the resist patinas. Makes me want to run to Walmart or Dick's sporting goods and get me some gun bluing. Sharpy as a resist! Great! Still have 3/4 galon of acetone left. ![]() ![]()
Color is just a phenomenon of light reflection and/or absorption. To control the light and shadows is to be an artist.

![]() I had heard of using a sharpie as resist for etching, but never thought of using it as a resist with patinas. Or icing or mustard!
