OK this is how I make a rose.

I use a peice of 3/8 round [attachment=4039]
bend it into a circle [attachment=4040]

need a pair of visegrips and some robo grip pliers with the teeth ground off to pervent scratching. Heat about a inch at a time and pop it out.

Pound a texture in the stim[attachment=4048][attachment=4049]
Set the visegrips for twisting[attachment=4050][attachment=4051]
Heat from the bottom and roll and twist it around bending the pedals as you go. [attachment=4052][attachment=4053][attachment=4054]
[attachment=4055][attachment=4056][attachment=4057][attachment=4058][attachment=4059][attachment=4060]
[attachment=4061][attachment=4062]
Now make the leaves[attachment=4063][attachment=4064][attachment=4065][attachment=4066][attachment=4067][attachment=4068][attachment=4069]
I pound the leaf lines on the edge of the vise[attachment=4070][attachment=4071][attachment=4072]
Weld on leaves[attachment=4073][attachment=4074]
Bend them down[attachment=4075][attachment=4076][attachment=4077][attachment=4078][attachment=4079][attachment=4080][attachment=4081][attachment=4082][attachment=4083]
Well there it is. It took me longer to post thie demo than it did to make the rose.

It's wonderful demo,Dave .Very cool design.My way of doing is :I use 1.5 mm plate cut like butterfly-necktie,bended like spoon.I use about 5 of these,like every piece is turned 90 degree against previous one.Unfortunately I'm working ouside,but when I'm finish,I'll post how I do one.

That is the way I was first taught to make a rose. The ones we did were too flat on the back side and I didn't like it. Yours looks much nicer!
