OK, so this is probably too basic for most people here, but I whipped this up for some other metalworkers on another forum and I might as well put it here too. :)

Its VERY informally written, beginner level, but assumes the reader has some grasp of some metalsmithing vocab. (next time I'll 'note out' any terms the reader might be unfamiliar with)
